Lisa Hardinge - Garden Designer
So, 2020 was a strange year but, it allowed me to change direction in life and realise my dream: I went back to my roots in horticulture and design.
My early working life as a florist planted the seeds of design with nature & beauty, creating different colour and texture combinations which connect beautifully.
I have trained and gained qualifications, and now hold a Diploma in Garden Design achieved at Capel Manor College, Enfield. I have trained in RHS, The Principles of Horticulture.
Being a pre-registered member of The Society of Garden Designers I regularly attend industry related events along with ad-hoc training to fully immerse myself in the world of garden design and keep up to date with inspiration, knowledge, materials, and plants. I use Vectorworks CAD software https://www.vectorworks.net/en-GB/ to provide a fully professional service.
Working with the right network people is key to a successful project, as my prior management experience taught me - I can call on a trusted network of landscapers, electricians, fellow gardeners, arborists, nurseries, and suppliers – I am well versed in dealing with stakeholders at all levels and juggling many balls.
